Services and Pricing
More InformationGOOD VALUE + UNMATCHED RELIABILTY.
Every week we hear from frustrated businesses & homeowners looking to change propane providers. After initially being offered a low fuel rate, or seeing some “to-good-to-be-true” advertisement, they quickly signed on.
Sadly, the service experience is often much different. High volume requirements to get “free” liters, additional junk fees, rate spikes, near constant run-outs, long-lead delivery times, and unanswered emails / calls are all common complaints.
At Ready Propane, we believe in providing our customers with best in class service, at a fair price. We maintain a simple -yet competitive- rate structure, free of the typical marketing gimmicks. Our trained staff help you better understand the equipment or services you need, and not pressure you into buying something you don’t. We deliver propane consistently and reliably -throughout all 4 seasons- so you always have propane when you need it. We also don’t run your tank near empty before filling you. Companies that focus solely on accounting metrics like “liters per delivery” only work to fuel customer anxiety.
For new customers, we provide free estimates, with no surprises. We also have clear policies around tank rentals & sales, who -and where- we will deliver to, and the other services we offer.
Remember the old Axiom: Price + Service = Value. When it comes to your comfort, service matters the most….
How Ready’s propane pricing works.
Not unlike other fuels, propane prices are subject to supply and demand pressures. As a general rule, winter is typically peak season for propane pricing due to high heating demand, and a more limited supply.
Crude Oil and Natural Gas feedstock prices, fluctuating USD/CAD Exchange rates, Federal and Provincial Regulations, geopolitical events, and higher storage & transport costs associated with Vancouver Island all factor into propane pricing.
Our variable price per liter ($/L) includes:
- Federal / Provincial Permitting fees,
- Hazardous Materials Handling (HAZMAT) fees,
- Bulk Storage & Pipeline fees,
- Admin fees.
All Ready Propane customers are charged a modest Delivery Service Fee. This flat fee is used to off-set the high costs of diesel, maintains our current vehicle fleet, and helps support annual training for our staff.
BC Carbon Tax, GST, PST, and Motor Fuel Taxes (when applicable) are extra.
